Birthdays and Adulthood

Do you know what today is?  It's June 16th.  But nevermind that.  June 11th is what I need to talk about.  Most people think that June 11th is an insignificant day, but they are very, very wrong.

June 11th is an important day.  It really is.

And why you ask?  Because it is the day that Haley was born!

Lilly Singh is absolutely amazing, fyi.

YES!  HALEY WINGATE WAS BORN ON THIS BEAUTIFUL DAY!

So, first things first.  I'd like to wish Haley a Happy, Happy, Happy Belated Birthday!

You are amazing, Haley.  You have a passion for Christ, you can play the piano BEAUTIFULLY, you're so intelligent, and you can write!  You're so gorgeous.  You really are.

One day, I would love to meet you in person!

Also, Dean Winchester has a message for you.

And don't let anyone tell you differently.  Because you, Haley, have been a blessing straight from the Heavens.

Now, you are officially an adult!  You can do grown-up things, and do grown-up stuff!

Wait... are you an adult?

LOL. 

I remember a day when we were texting about our piano skills,  She sent me a video of her playing the piano, and she looked and sounded professional. 

Obviously, Haley is better than Donald Duck.  Duh.

I remember I was all like, "Holy Crap, She's good."  And then, I'm all like, "Dude, I stink at playing the piano, compared to Haley."  So, Haley, you can play the piano beautifully, and I will never play the piano, AROUND YOU!  

Also, this woman can write.  

And I love her story.  It's beautiful.  It's located in France, a beautiful country with even more beautiful men.  Hehe.  It deals with a relationship of a curious young American woman and a gorgeous French man, who is, in fact, royalty.  I really do love it.  

This woman has such a passion for Christ, and I love it!  I love talking to you Haley.  

Don't ever be discouraged, Haley.  You inspire me.

Haley, I want you to know that I pray for you.  I really do.  Because of what I know of you, I can already sense (even though we live in two different states that are miles and miles apart) that God has big plans for you.  Like Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  

Haley, you are so intelligent.  Even the Doctor said so.

See?  I told you so.

You are so intelligent.  I can tell by the way you write, which is brilliant, and you are homeschooled, which obviously shows that you already get a good education.  (LOL.  Ain't that the truth!)

Now, I could talk about Haley forever, and ever. and ever, and-- 

Okay, Okay!  Geez...

But I want to say one last thing about Haley before I end this blog.  

BE PATIENT!  Geez...

Haley, you are so beautiful.  I remember when I first saw a picture of you, I was all like, (and still am), "Wow.  She's gorgeous.  I can't let her see me.  Not when she's so much more attractive than I am.  Geez."  

See how beautiful she is?!!!

Haley, you shine brighter all of the stars.  You are more attractive than a steaming hot apple pie.  You are amazing.

Don't ever stop being you.
