Life Update: My Graduated Senior Summer
Oh wow, hey! I didn't even see you there... and haven't for the past FIVE months...
Control yourself, Sam. *continues to glare at Sam*
Anyways, so many things have happened since my last post... which was in late November... of 2016..
Now, I'm officially a high school graduate.
See?!! I told you I could do it!
It's crazy. I honestly thought that I wouldn't graduate high school, but here I am, a graduated 17 year old girl, not ready for college, which is happening in two months. High school has been one crazy ride for me. The ups and and downs of high school have been interesting. The friends I've made and the adults that I've learned to look up to have made such an impact on my life. I absolutely love them all. High school has given me experiences that have shaped me into the woman I am today, and I am forever grateful for that. Even though high school wasn't perfect 24/7, I made lots of unforgettable memories with the people I love. Thank you, Lincoln High School, for one life changing experience.
I'm also grateful for God. To be honest, I probably wouldn't have graduated without God's mercy, love and blessings. God helped me throughout high school through the tough times.
Whoever thought that high school would be so painful and rewarding at the same time? I sure didn't. But I gained some amazing friends throughout high school, Mylea, Haven, Evelyn, and the list goes on.

This summer was seriously crazy. It was my last summer as a high school student in my youth group at my church back in California. I did a lot of amazing things, like Christian summer camps and Christian concerts. I went to Hume Lake, which is a Christian camp in the woods, with cabins and lots of walking and crazy games with amazing music and a heart-wrenching speaker. It was sad as it was my last time as a camper, yet it was really exciting to think about all of the opportunities that God has for me in the future. I don't really know what God has planned for me in my future, but I am so excited to see where He leads me!!
This is a beautiful view of the lake. I'm so gonna miss this place.
During my week at Hume Lake, I hung out mostly with my friend, Janaye. She's beautiful and adorable. I love her heart for God. It's even more beautiful than she is.
So purdy.
Also, photogenic. What the heck?!!
Also, all three of my crazy siblings were there with me. Honestly, I really enjoyed myself at Hume this past summer. I cried... a lot.
Honestly, how is he beautiful when CRYING?!! It really isn't fair.
I also got my first summer job!!! It was crazy and amazing and a learning experience. I'm so hoping that I can go back next summer. I worked Pre/Post Care at my church's summer camp for kids. It's called DayCamp, and it's something special. I love it so much. (I'll have a separate post about my experience.)
So cute.
Love these kids.
My High School Youth Group went on a week long conference-mission trip down to the LA area. We heard different speakers, praised God with amazing music, served the community and had fun with each other! It was a small... ish group of teenagers ranging from sophomores to graduated seniors. It was so much fun. God definitely blessed me with amazing people.
This is Jamie. She's a senior. She's so talented and has a heart for God.
This is Alyssa. She's a senior. She's hilarious and great. She's so passionate about God.
At the end of The Gathering, our group headed over to Disneyland for a day. We rode every major ride at Disneyland. It was so much fun! I loved it so much!!!
This is Jack, the best bus driver. He's fun and has an amazing heart for God.
Also, do you like my very sweet instagram looking photo?
This summer was absolutely amazing and unforgettable. The memories made this summer are always going to be held near and dear to my heart.
